The Gateway module is a means of creating transparent pages for submission to search engines. You can create a page with unique meta data just as you would with the Meta module. However, these pages, when linked, will seamlessly redirect the visitor to the home page of your site. This provides you with a page to submit to search engines without having to actually create an entirely new page on your site.

The information entered for each gateway page will be reflected in the body of the transparent page. Some search engines want to see actual content on pages that they accept. This module will re-enter the information provided to create what appears to be a unique and complete webpage.

Upon entering, you will see a list of the the 50 most recently entered Gateway pages. Additional entries will be listed on separate pages. The information displayed is as follows:

ID: A unique identifier for this entry. It is used in defining the link to this gateway page.

Title: The page title as seen by the search engines.

Link: The link to this page which is to be provided to the search engines.

Edit/Delete: These links allow for modification of the gateway pages.

Add New / Edit

Click the Add New link to add a new gateway page. The Edit link for each gateway page present you with the same page. Here, you will be present with the following fields.

Title: Enter the title of the page as it should be displayed in the code of the page.

Key Words: Enter the keywords of the page as they should be displayed in the code of the page.

Description: Enter the description of the page as it should be displayed in the code of the page.
