The Privacy module is an easy way to provide your site with a privacy policy. Such a policy is required if you are to accept online payments.

When installed, a default policy is created that utilizes settings defined for your website. This policy can then be edited to conform to your personal standards, but is often not required.

When the policy is updated, the modification date is automatically saved and displayed on the visitors page. This is sometimes another requirement by credit card companies with which you deal.
